Alena Perez

Alena Perez is an experienced operations and project management professional with a robust background in the social impact and public health sectors. Currently, Alena serves as the Head of Operations at Unified Ground since August 2022. Previously at Bright Power, Inc., Alena held several roles, including Technology Director of Operations and Interim Data Director, from May 2019 to August 2022. Independent consultancy work as a Data and Project Manager was undertaken from 2017 to July 2019, collaborating with organizations like Open Society Foundations and The Rockefeller Foundation. Alena's earlier experience includes client services and data management at the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center, strategic planning with Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, and information management with the World Health Organization. Alena holds a Master's degree in Public Health with a focus on Global Health from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Pace University.
