Brenda Magazu

Manager of Strategic Programs at Unified Office

Brenda Magazu has worked in the IT industry for over 40 years. Brenda began their career in 1977 as a Senior IT Consultant with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq Computer Corporation). In this role, they were responsible for large scale deployments of DecMail, MTS/All-in-1 Mail systems, video text systems, and creating tools to help manage the environments. Brenda also led large scale training sessions (500+) for end users and technical consultants.

In 1999, Magazu became the Manager, IT Unified Communications Service at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In this role, they were responsible for Hewlett-Packard’s Unified Communications Service, the largest deployment of Microsoft Lync with over 350K seats across 87 countries. Brenda provided a leadership role across all the teams, and managed the financial components of the program, worked closely with Telecom carriers, developed ROI's, and ran successful governance and stakeholder meetings. In 2011, they launched the Office Communicator services in HP.

Magazu also held the position of Manager, Portfolio Development Services, where they provided leadership and coordination for broad based Commercial deal opportunities. Brenda participated in several large deal teams, and led the effort to create solution portfolio collateral to enhanced the sales selling cycle.

In 2016, Magazu joined Unified Office, Inc. as the Manager of Strategic Programs. In this role, they provided Vendor, Telecommunications Carrier, and Supply Chain Management for the company.

Brenda Magazu attended Concord Carlisle High School, graduating in 1977. In 1981-1982, they completed an Advanced Network Technical Training degree at Babson College, specializing in Networks & Telecommunications.
