Denise Valentin-Diaz

Denise Valentin-Diaz has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Denise currently serves as the Director of Human Resources Operations at UniFirst Corporation, where they provide leadership and strategic direction for HR Shared Services teams. Their responsibilities include overseeing and ensuring operational excellence, delivering HR operations data and analytics, implementing HR policies, and serving as the final point of escalation for HR operations.

Prior to their current role, Denise held positions such as Sr. Manager of Human Resources, Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Compliance Supervisor, Human Resources Compliance/Employee Relations Specialist, Training Specialist, and Recruiting Specialist/Human Resources at UniFirst Corporation. In these roles, they managed various HR functions, including employee relations, total rewards, HR compliance, and training.

Before joining UniFirst Corporation, Denise worked as a Technical Recruiter at Additional Contract Services and as a Human Resources Generalist at Maxon Engineering.

In 2006, Denise obtained the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). Denise also has additional certifications including EQi 2.0 EQi 360 Certified from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS) and a Professional In Human Resources Certification (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute.
