Mansoor Gaffar

Head Of Internal Audit at unifonic

Mansoor Gaffar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mansoor began their career as an Audit Clerk at Gobodo Incorporated, where they progressed to the positions of Audit Senior and Audit Supervisor. Mansoor then joined the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA), starting as a Senior Internal Auditor and later becoming the Head of Finance in the International Division. At the DBSA, they were responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and providing financial guidance to executives. Mansoor then moved to Etisalat, where they worked as a Group International Audit Specialist, managing internal audit contracts in multiple countries. Mansoor'sresponsibilities included planning and executing audits, liaising with CEOs, and reporting to the Audit Committee. Most recently, they joined Unifonic as the Head of Internal Audit.

Mansoor Gaffar obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1995 to 1999. Mansoor also completed an Honours degree in Accounting from the same university in 2001. In addition, they have acquired several certifications including being a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in 2020, a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2007, and a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2004.
