Didier Michoud

Chief Risk Officer at Unigestion SA

Didier Michoud has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Didier is currently a Lecturer at Imperial College London. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Risk Officer at Unigestion from 2013 onwards. Didier also served as a Lecturer at HEC- Lausanne University from 2010 to 2020. Before that, they held the position of Head of Risk Management at EIM S.A. from 2007 to 2013. Didier has also worked as a Senior Manager at both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Banque Laurentienne du Canada in 2005. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Risk Manager at Banque Cantonale de Genève, where they specialized in asset/liability management and played a key role in developing the Integrated Risk Management Software FERMAT. Prior to that, they worked as a Performance & Risk Analyst at Llyods TSB Bank.

Didier Michoud obtained a PhD in Physics from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2000 after completing their studies between 1996 and 2000. Prior to that, they earned their MSc in Physics from the same institution, EPFL, between 1990 and 1995. In 2002, they received a Certificate in Financial Risk Management from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
