Ilhem Abbar

Ilhem Abbar is a research engineer at UniLaSalle since March 2024, focusing on economics, management science, and the sociology of technology. Previously, Ilhem served as an internship trainee at INRAE, working on the sustainability of lentil production systems in France as part of the DURQUAL project. An internship at CRDA involved studying farmers' adaptation strategies to climate change through surveys and statistical analysis. Ilhem also held the position of digital marketing and media manager at ESAM Junior Entreprise and performed quality assurance and control at SNA-Société de Nutrition Animale. Currently pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Agricultural Economics at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne, Ilhem's education includes multiple advanced degrees in agricultural economics and sustainable food system design.
