Kanika Pal is an experienced sustainability leader with a diverse background in corporate social responsibility and community development, currently serving as the South Asia Sustainability Director at Unilever since April 2018. In this role, Kanika has realigned sustainability strategies to align with government priorities, introduced performance management metrics for insightful decision-making, and developed training programs to empower employees. Previous positions include leading impactful community initiatives under Unilever and heading CSR at Sony Pictures Networks India. Kanika is also a founder of SoCHE Foundation, promoting environmental conservation among marginalized communities. Additionally, Kanika serves on advisory councils and working groups for UNICEF and the World Economic Forum, contributing expertise in social economy and youth advocacy. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy from the Indian School of Business and a Master's in CSR from the Asian Institute of Technology.
