Mbali Mthembu

Mbali Mthembu is a skilled SUIT engineer at Unilever since February 2024, where recognition includes being part of the winning team in the South African Idea Trophy competition sponsored by Ola. With experience as a Teaching Assistant for third- and fourth-year Chemical Engineering students at the University of Cape Town from July 2022 to December 2023, Mbali has also provided private tutoring through BrightSparkz Tutors. Prior experience includes a role as a DATA4MIA Data Analyst with Engineers Without Borders South Africa and serving as a student mentor at the University of Cape Town. Mbali holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, completed in December 2023, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution, finished in 2021.
