Mark E. van Wormer M.D.

Mark E. Van Wormer MD, RVT, RDCS serves as the Director of Emergency Services and Chief of Medicine at Union County General Hospital, also holding the position of Trauma Director for a Regional Level IV Trauma Center and working as a Cardiovascular Sonologist. With extensive experience, Mark has been Medical Director at Genesis Nursing and the Multinational Medical Relief Corps of Africa, as well as President of the Clayton MainStreet Project. A certified member of the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine since 1999, Mark has a strong background in hormone replacement therapy and wellness. Additional roles include Medical Director for Vascular Imaging Associates and the Union County Medical Diagnostic Imaging Center, alongside founding and operating a multispecialty group Family Practice Center. Education includes an M.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University and extensive medical training, with notable achievements in vascular technology and adult echocardiography.
