Erin Mitchell is a dedicated public health professional with extensive experience in emergency preparedness and infection prevention. Currently serving as the Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator at Union County Health Department since May 2022, Erin previously worked as an Infection Preventionist at OhioHealth from May 2017 to May 2022 and completed a student internship at the Ohio Department of Health from June 2015 to May 2017. Erin holds a Master of Public Health in Veterinary Preventive Medicine, Epidemiology, and Public Health from The Ohio State University College of Public Health, earned in 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a focus on Environmental Health from the same institution, obtained in 2016.
