Katherine Hanna, RN CCM, is a dedicated nursing professional with extensive experience in clinical instruction, patient care, and volunteer work. Currently serving as a First Year Medical Student at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center since August 2021, Katherine also contributes as Nursing Faculty at the University of Northwestern - St. Paul. Previous roles include Clinical Administrator for Assisted Living and Memory Care at Presbyterian Homes & Services and Nurse Case Manager for Complex Medical Conditions at UnitedHealth Group. Katherine's volunteer efforts include roles as a COVID screener at Union Gospel Mission and a COVID Vaccinator and Swabber Nurse at the University of Minnesota, Fairview. What began as a downtown soup kitchen in 1951 has expanded into a comprehensive ministry with four shelters, three recovery programs, two thrift stores, an automotive enterprise and a summer camp for underprivileged youth.
