Elena Rosenblum

Vice President of Growth at Union Kitchen

Elena Rosenblum has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 with an internship in the Executive Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Elena then had an internship in the Office of Legislative Affairs at the same department in 2012, where they developed briefing books for senior U.S. Treasury officials and reported on Congressional hearings. In 2013, they were a Teaching Assistant for Camp Launch at the College of William and Mary, and a Public Affairs Fellow at the U.S. Department of State, where they organized a social media advocacy campaign for women's rights in developing countries. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Research Intern at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and also a Hill Tribes Program Manager at FutureSense Group, where they lived and worked in a hill tribe along the Burmese border in northern Thailand.

From 2015 to 2022, Elena Rosenblum was at Union Kitchen, a food business accelerator and investment fund in Washington, DC. Elena began as an Accelerator Manager, spearheading the development and implementation of the Accelerator program, and then moved up to Senior Director, Accelerator Director, and Vice President of Growth. In this capacity, they worked closely with emerging CPG brands on creating products that met market demand, building sustainable business models, and scaling effectively. Elena also sat on the board of numerous food and beverage brands and served as a strategic advisor.

In 2022, Elena Rosenblum became a Board Member for Latin Goodness Foods/Maspanadas and 8 Myles Inc.

Elena Rosenblum received their Bachelor's Degree in Economics from William & Mary in 2015. Elena has since obtained a Food Science and Technology Certificate Program from The Ohio State University in 2020. Elena is currently enrolled in a Development Economics and International Development program at the University of Exeter, a Russian, Central European, East European and Eurasian Studies program at Charles University, and a Southeast Asian Studies program at Mahidol University. Additionally, they have obtained a Sales: Closing Strategies certification from LinkedIn in January 2022.
