Katy Love

Katy Love has extensive experience in digital engagement and online communications. Katy worked at the Union of Concerned Scientists from 2005 to 2020, beginning as an Online Communications Coordinator and progressing to roles such as Online and New Media Manager, Online Engagement Manager, and eventually Director of Digital Engagement. In these positions, they supervised teams, oversaw digital communications strategies, and developed online advocacy campaigns. Prior to that, they worked at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences as an External Affairs Assistant, where they coordinated press releases and assisted with fundraising. Katy also has experience as an Editor and Office Manager at Prosci, where they conducted research, maintained website content, and prepared marketing materials.

Katy Love obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Long Island University, Southampton Campus in 2001. Katy later pursued a Master of Science in Science Journalism from Boston University from 2003 to 2005.
