Sarah Brettschneider has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in human resources and office management. In their most recent position, they worked as the Director of People Operations at the Union of Concerned Scientists. Prior to that, they served as a Senior People Partner at Purpose and a People Operations Manager at BSR (Business for Social Responsibility). Sarah also held roles as a Human Resources Specialist at Omnicom Health Group, a Host at NYC Social, and a Human Resources Manager at Hydrogen. Sarah has experience in office management, employee engagement, human resources administration, and recruiting. Early in their career, they worked as the Director of Operations at The American Jewish Historical Society and held various administrative roles at the Training Institute for Mental Health and Wilson Elser.
Sarah Brettschneider obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in History from SUNY New Paltz. In addition, they attended the University of Dundee for a brief period. Sarah also holds additional certifications as a Notary Public from the New York State and as a Human Resources Generalist from Pace University.
