April Behnke

April Behnke is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Tech at Union Pacific Railroad since September 2022, April previously held the position of Manager of Information Services at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska from September 2018 to September 2022, where responsibility included managing agile development and data engineering teams, as well as communicating data strategy to executive leadership. Earlier roles include Director of Technology and Customer Service at Allied Oil & Tire Company and Solutions Development Manager at Alorica, where a rapid advancement was achieved due to strong leadership and technical expertise. April began a career in technology as an Engineer at ACI Worldwide and has foundational experience from an internship at Nebraska On-Ramp. April holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Management Information Systems from Bellevue University and an Associate Degree in Computer Programming from Nebraska College of Business.
