Horst Plochberger

Horst Plochberger is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Head of Data at UNIQA IT Services since January 2024. Previously, Plochberger held the role of Head of Solution Architecture at UNIQA Insurance Group AG - UNIQA IT Service Gmbh from May 2016 to December 2023. Plochberger's expertise spans over two decades, with significant positions at Dr. E. Hackhofer Gesmbh, where various roles included Solution Architect, Senior Software Developer, and Project Manager. Plochberger's contributions include the development and architectural design of numerous software solutions, alongside leadership in project management and quality assurance initiatives. Plochberger holds a Master’s degree in Embedded Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Systems from the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Vienna, and an engineering degree in EDP and Organization from Höhere Technische Bundeslehranstalt und Versuchsanstalt Wr. Neustadt.
