Florence Egri

Florence Egri, PharmD has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Florence is currently the Director of Scientific Communications at uniQure, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director of Medical Affairs at MorphoSys from May 2020 to November 2022.

Florence also served as a Senior Manager of Global Medical Information at Sage Therapeutics from December 2019 to April 2020. Before that, they worked at Takeda Oncology as a Manager of Medical Information & Review from May 2018 to November 2019, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Global Medical Information from July 2017 to May 2018.

Starting their career in the environmental sector, Florence worked as an Extractions Chemist at Alpha Analytical from July 2009 to February 2010, where they followed approved methods to extract and analyze soil and water samples.

Florence Egri, PharmD, attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Florence then pursued a Master's degree in Chemistry at Lehigh University from 2011 to 2013. Florence continued their education at the University of Connecticut, earning a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Studies from 2013 to 2015, and subsequently a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from 2015 to 2017.
