Emilie Oldknow Obe Chartered Fcipd

Emilie Oldknow OBE Chartered FCIPD currently serves as the Assistant Secretary General - Resource and Organisation (COO) at Unison since June 2018, overseeing a £162 million annual budget and managing a workforce of 1,200 across 14 locations. Prior to this, Emilie held key roles at The Labour Party from April 2006 to June 2018, including Executive Director of Governance, Membership and Party Services, where responsibilities encompassed compliance and operations, as well as managing the Shadow Cabinet's engagements. Emilie also acted as Regional Director for the East Midlands, directing strategic initiatives for 45 constituencies and a budget of approximately £150,000. Emilie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and Politics from Newcastle University between 1999 and 2002.
