What you’re responsible for

  • To support a high performing sales team and lead a research function covering EMEA.
  • Monitor and support in achieving weekly team KPI’s.
  • Add value to establishing trusted relationships through the best market intelligence.
  • Have awareness of the RE market and do some networking with target lead generation sources (eg commercial agents.
  • Ability to identify, qualify and develop viable opportunities throughout our EMEA pipelines and understand how we influence outcomes.
  • Support the global business through cross-regional referrals and intelligence.
  • Reporting to the Head of Sales & Client Solutions for the EMEA region.

Business/Financials

  • Develop and execute a research function strategy that adds materially to EMEA / global pipeline and results.
  • Develop local insights and analytics in collaboration with Business Development to support the continuous evolution of our strategy.
  • Create an EMEA opportunity pipeline in accordance with agreed strategic plan and budget/targets.

Client/Stakeholder

  • Undertake lead source analysis and drive lead management.
  • Collaborate with group-wide businesses where we can identify key industry or client relationships and opportunities.
  • Undertake conversion analysis and other key KPI data to support business planning.
  • Develop fresh and innovative approaches to identify and attract target clients and accounts.
  • Participate in local studio planning where required to identify local or regional specific opportunities and client-types.
  • Map and follow key local client relationships (new, existing and previous contacts and firms)

People/Team

  • Collaborate with Global Business Development Teams to identify and drive cross regional opportunities with target clients.
  • Lead and develop EMEA research team and function.
  • Support a high performing sales team and lead a research function covering EMEA.
  • Develop and manage Business Development expertise in the three key areas of Networking/Cold calling, Research and Client Intelligence.

Job Specific

  • Drive Business Development methodology, standards/practices, processes and technology solutions to enhance the capability and effectiveness of the organisation.
  • Drive a culture of accuracy in research and intelligence for handover.
  • Collaborate with studio teams and Marketing / Communications for continual improvement of event attendees.

Work experience

  • Commercial office sector, either from an agent or sales perspective.
  • Experience managing and growing teams.
  • Networking, or have worked in BD within commercial fit out.
  • Experience utilising cold calling techniques as a method to open doors and build relationships with potential leads.
  • Client facing relationship management a plus.
  • Proven lead and pipeline development and management.
  • EMEA experience preferred though not critical.
  • Certificate or degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
