Abdulla Zareer

Abdulla Zareer has had a diverse range of work experiences spanning over two decades. Abdulla started their career as a Lecturer and later became the Head of Department of Information Technology at the Faculty of Management and Computing, Maldives College of Higher Education from 2000 to 2002. In 2005, they worked in various contract positions with Westpac Bank, Corporate Express, and FPC Courier before joining Lysaght Building Solutions as a Systems Administrator from 2005 to 2008.

Abdulla then joined BlueScope Steel, where they served as a Server & Field Support Engineer from 2008 to 2012, and later as a Systems Engineer from 2012 to 2015. Abdulla then moved to UXC Connect (a CSC Company) in 2015 and worked as a Systems Engineer until 2016.

Currently, Abdulla is working at UniSuper, where they have held two roles: Infrastructure Engineer from November 2016 to December 2017, and later as an Infrastructure & Cloud Solutions Designer from December 2017, with no specified end date.

Throughout their career, Abdulla Zareer has gained extensive experience in infrastructure and cloud solutions design, systems engineering, and IT support.

Abdulla Zareer completed their Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Wollongong between 1997 and 1999. Abdulla then pursued a Master's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Southern Queensland from 2002 to 2004.

Additionally, Abdulla Zareer has obtained various certifications in the field of IT. These include CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) from Cisco, CNA (Certified Novell Administrator) from Novell, Dell Enterprise Architecture (Server Specialty) from Dell, Dell Enterprise Architecture (Storage Specialty) from Dell, MCSA: Messaging (Microsoft Certified System Administrator: Messaging) from Microsoft, and VCP5-DCV: VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization from VMware.
