David Laurence has extensive work experience in the superannuation industry. David started their career at Primary Superannuation Services Pty. Ltd. in 2005 as a Member Services Consultant, where they provided factual and general information to members and also assisted in processing benefit payments and maintaining insurance records. David worked in this role until November 2008.
In November 2008, David joined UniSuper as a Member Services Consultant, a role that they held until May 2010. Here, they continued to provide general information to members.
In May 2010, David transitioned to the role of Technical Support Officer at UniSuper, a position they held until June 2012.
From June 2012 to September 2015, David served as a Team Leader in Member Services at UniSuper. In this role, they managed 10 phone-based consultants and focused on providing general, factual information to members in a dynamic environment. David played a key role in creating an award-winning contact center known for providing members with a genuine care experience.
In September 2015, David became the Team Leader of the Financial Assessment Centre at UniSuper. In this role, they managed 8 multi-skilled consultants based in Melbourne and Sydney. Their main responsibility was to provide members with general advice about their superannuation, referring them to the in-house advice team or On Campus Consultants when appropriate. David held this position until October 2022.
In February 2022, David took on the role of Lead - Superannuation Consultant NSW/ACT at UniSuper. David served in this position until October 2022. Currently, David is working as an Employer Partnerships Manager at UniSuper, a role they started in October 2022.
