Malinda Gallage

Malinda Gallage has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Malinda started their career at Seylan Bank in 1993, where they held various roles as a Systems Administrator, Team Leader, and AS400 Systems Administrator/Team Leader. Their responsibilities included software specialization, testing, system administration, network handling, and project management. Malinda achieved outstanding results in industry-standard projects during their employment.

In 2011, Malinda joined William Adams Pty Ltd as an iSeries Systems Administrator. Malinda provided support for dealer business applications, automation, end-user support, and performance monitoring. Malinda also conducted iSeries fixes and application upgrades.

Malinda then moved to UniSuper in 2015, where they initially worked as an iSeries Administrator. Malinda later transitioned to the role of Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer. In this position, they upskilled in CommVault data protection/information management and MS Azure cloud services. Malinda administered large cluster environments, IBM, and WinTel systems. Additionally, they provided level 2 support for multiple networks with SAN-based storage. As of September 2021, they hold the position of Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Engineer at UniSuper.

Malinda Gallage began their education in 2000 at the Australian Computer Society, where they pursued a Diploma in Computer Science until 2001. Following this, they furthered their studies in JAVA Programming at Radiant Software Limited in India from 2001 to 2002, obtaining a Diploma. In 2003, Malinda enrolled in the British Computer Society, focusing on Information Technology for four years until 2007. During the same period, they also attended the National Computer Society in the United Kingdom, earning an International Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies from 2003 to 2005. Lastly, in January 2021, Malinda obtained the Microsoft AZ-104T00 - Microsoft Azure Administrator certification from DDLS.
