Michael Gatzoglou

Senior Project Manager, Prince2 at Uni Systems

Michael Gatzoglou has a rich work experience, having worked in various roles and companies over the years. Michael started their career as a Software Engineer at Ericsson Canada in 1994 and stayed there until 1995.

Michael then joined Ericsson in Greece and held multiple positions. From 1996 to 1998, they worked as a Telecom Engineer, focusing on software deployment. Michael then became a Team Leader for a software support team dedicated to Vodafone Greece & Albania mobile networks from 1999 to 2001. Following that, Michael served as a Department Manager for Packet Core, IP & IMS Customer Support & Integration from 2001 to 2006.

Michael'snext role at Ericsson was as a Business Area Manager for Systems Integration Delivery, where they were responsible for business development, project management, and leading a team of 25 engineers. In this role, they delivered customized solutions/services in areas such as charging systems, mediation systems, provisioning systems, IMS applications, and telecom management solutions. Michael held this position from 2007 to 2008.

After leaving Ericsson, they joined Intracom Telecom as a Customer Services Manager and Delivery Program Manager from 2008 to 2010. Michael then worked at Huawei, first as a Customer Account Service Delivery Manager from 2010 to 2011, and later as a Managed Services Pre-sales, Delivery & Transition Manager from 2011 to 2012.

Most recently, Michael has been working at P3 Group as a Telecommunications Consultant since 2013.

In 2017, they joined UniSystems as a Senior Project Manager, focusing on PRINCE2 methodology.

Michael Gatzoglou studied at Concordia University from 1988 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Elliniko Anoikto Panepistimio, with an expected completion date not yet determined.
