Alexander Basovskiy

Alexander Basovskiy has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Alexander is currently serving as the Chief Data Scientist at Unit since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Accenture as a Tech Lead and Researcher at Accenture Israel Cyber R&D Lab from 2018 to 2022. Before joining Accenture, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Muvix Media Networks Ltd. from 2016 to 2018. Alexander also worked at Leverate as a Software Architect, Software Team Leader, and Software Engineer from 2011 to 2016. Alexander started their career at Cellebrite as a Senior Software Engineer in 2007 and previously worked as a Software Engineer at IDT from 2005 to 2007.

Alexander Basovskiy earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Orel State Technical University (OrelSTU) in 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics and Finance at Tula State University in 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Basovskiy obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2023, Natural Language Processing Specialization and Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in 2020 and 2018 respectively, MongoDB from MongoDB, Inc. in 2013, and Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate from Oracle in 2007.
