Matthias Falk

Matthias Falk has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2012, they worked in recruiting at DNV GL for a brief period. In 2013, they moved to tesa SE where they focused on university marketing and personal development. The following year, they joined Jungheinrich AG and held a role in HR development corporate. In 2015, they joined IBM as an HR Business Development Master, then transitioned to a role in Watson Internet of Things. In 2017, Matthias became a Consultant and Data Scientist at IBM, specializing in artificial intelligence and deep learning systems. Matthias worked on projects in computer vision using various open-source and platform-specific technologies from major cloud vendors. In 2020, Matthias joined BSH Home Appliances Group as an IT Solution Architect, and in 2021, they began working at Unit8 as a Cloud & DevOps Engineer. Within Unit8, Matthias has held various roles, including Engagement Lead and Engagement Director. Their work experience demonstrates a strong background in technology, data science, and HR with a focus on AI and cloud computing.

Matthias Falk obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Strategic Sales Management from ESB Business School, Reutlingen University, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration and Modern Languages, both at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, and Europa-Universität Flensburg, from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Matthias also obtained several certifications, including Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals from Coursera in July 2019, Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in June 2018, and Machine Learning from Coursera in April 2018.
