Adam Gottlieb has a diverse work experience in the education and policy sectors. Adam currently serves as the Director of Postsecondary Strategy & Policy at UNITE-LA, where they are responsible for cultivating relationships with funders and managing grants. Prior to this role, they were an Associate Director and Senior Manager at UNITE-LA, where they led the transition of work and grants from the LA Area Chamber of Commerce. Adam also served as the LA Compact Higher Education Manager at both UNITE-LA and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, providing technical support, planning stakeholder meetings, and developing strategies for postsecondary policy. Before their roles at UNITE-LA and the Chamber of Commerce, Adam worked as a Consultant at Education Growth Group, a Policy and Advocacy Fellow at Complete Tennessee, and an Intern at the State of Tennessee. Adam also gained experience in higher education as a Graduate Assistant at Vanderbilt University and served as the President of the Associated Students of the University of Redlands. Adam started their career as a Recreation Assistant with the City of Los Angeles.
Adam Gottlieb completed their education with a Master of Public Policy degree in Education Policy from Vanderbilt University, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Thought and Practice from the University of Redlands, attending from 2011 to 2015. In 2014, Adam also pursued a brief study in Political Science at UCL's School of Political Studies.
