Hank Wynsma

Hank Wynsma serves as the Managing Director of Secure Product Solutions & Aircraft Cybersecurity Operations at United Airlines since October 2021, focusing on the security of products and mitigating cyber risks prior to deployment. Previously, Hank held various leadership roles at GE Aviation from May 2007 to November 2021, including VP of Product Cyber Security and Safety and Certification Section Leader, overseeing product cybersecurity and global safety engineering operations. Prior experience includes positions at Smiths Aerospace, where Hank managed safety and reliability engineering teams, and service in the US Navy as both an instructor and Aviation Electronic Technician. Hank holds a Master's degree in Aviation/Aerospace Management & Systems Safety and a Bachelor's degree in Professional Aeronautics focused on Aviation/Aerospace Systems Safety & Human Factors from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
