Ashley Michels is an experienced advocate and emergency medical technician with a diverse background in providing crisis intervention and support services. Currently, Ashley serves as the CSEC and Tay Anti-Human Trafficking Advocate at YWCA Golden Gate Silicon Valley, delivering case management and emergency advocacy for youth affected by human trafficking and violence. Ashley holds positions with Kaiser Permanente as an Emergency Department Technician and with multiple emergency response organizations, including Hope Staffing and United Ambulance, where services include immediate care for critically ill and injured individuals. Previous roles include health technician at Mission Street Sobering Center, community resource lead at In Field Strategies, and linkages services coordinator at Abode Services. Ashley is also an instructor for American Heart Association and ASHI training programs. Ashley earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, and holds additional degrees in Psychology and Sociology.
