Mike Johnston

Research Scientist at United Animal Health

Mike Johnston has extensive experience in research and development in the field of reproductive physiology in the animal health industry. Mike started their career at PIC USA in 1992 as a Nutrition Research Leader and worked there until 2001. After that, they joined The Hanor Company as a Research Manager from 2001 to 2007. Currently, Mike is a Research Scientist at JBS United, where they have been since 2007. Mike is involved in the Animal Health Division and has recently been part of a team that received FDA approval for a new drug called OvuGel. Mike continues to conduct research to find new products that can improve the reproduction process in sows and gilts.

Mike Johnston attended Kansas State University from 1976 to 1980. During this time, they obtained both a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) degree in Swine Nutrition.
