Dawn Hobbs

Dawn Hobbs is an experienced professional in community engagement and marketing, currently serving as the Manager of Community Engagement at United Communications since July 2019, after previously holding roles as a Marketing Specialist and Marketing Coordinator. Dawn's career includes significant contributions as the Marketing Coordinator/Recruiter/Equity Officer at TN College of Applied Technology Shelbyville, and as the first Human Resources Director for the City of Shelbyville, where policies and marketing strategies for employment opportunities were successfully implemented. Additionally, Dawn has a background in managing a non-profit organization as the Executive Director of United Way of Bedford County, and has held various leadership roles in the Community Development Center, enhancing skills in marketing, project development, and fundraising. Dawn’s early career included roles in healthcare-related customer service and billing, complemented by a B.S. in Management and Human Relations from Trevecca Nazarene University and an Associate of Arts from Motlow State Community College.
