JOB STATUS: Full time (40 hours/week)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for creating content, designing marketing materials, applying content to website, and event coordination throughout the UCAP service area. To contribute to the public’s awareness of UCAP services and programming to attain desired public education goals. The Marketing Coordinator will produce digital and design solutions for a variety of uses across multiple platforms. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Community Services Director to produce on-brand and eye-catching materials that align with UCAP’s identity and overall branding standards. Would be an active member of the agency’s communication team.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

  • Multi-media usage, creative aspects, posting and monitoring.

  • Maintain donor relations software and donor relations.

  • Coordinate events, expos, and seasonal events across service area.

  • Create and maintain files for creative reference and resources.

  • Develop content and public education materials.

  • Support and model UCAP’s Behavioral Competencies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising, marketing, or a related field is required. OR
  • Associate – level degree in graphic design, advertising, marketing, or a related field is required

        or 5 Years combination of education and experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience in the field of graphic design, marketing, or advertising is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

  • Ability to analyze situations and make appropriate decisions.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

  • Time and resource management skills.

  • Creative / Critical thinking.

  • Ability to make community connections.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines while working under pressure.

  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe) along with Canva.

  • Reliable mode of transportation to and from worksite and the ability to travel.

  • Reliable, regular attendance.

  • Must have a satisfactory background check.

  • Must think creatively to develop compelling visual materials that align with marketing strategies, objectives, and our brand.

  • Must have excellent organization skills and strong project management abilities.

  • Experience with photography, videography, and video editing a plus.
