David Shaffer

David Shaffer is an experienced professional in claims operations management with a strong background in the health insurance industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Claims Operations at United Concordia Dental since May 2018, David oversees all claims processing functions and focuses on enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. Prior to UCD, David worked at Highmark Inc. from April 2009 to May 2018 in various roles, including Business Team Lead, where oversight of Agile Teams was a key responsibility, and as a Sr Business Analyst and Senior Business Consultant, contributing to network enhancements and process improvements.
