Josh Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Josh is currently the co-founder of United Effects, where they lead user experience design and front-end optimization for SaaS enterprise products. Josh also handles brand marketing strategy and provides consultation to SaaS startups and early-stage founders in multiple industries.

Prior to this, Josh worked as the Director of UX at Vertex Inc. There, they established product design practices and led the formation of UX research operations. Josh also implemented behavioral analytics to measure success and failure conditions for new initiatives.

Josh's experience includes being a User Experience Manager at Frontline Education, where they led and scaled a team of designers and contributed to the company's unicorn valuation. Josh also served as a Creative Director at Elexio, where they led a team in designing and deploying various mobile applications and solutions.

Furthermore, Josh has worked as a Lead Designer at Water Street Ministries, where they strengthened the company's visual identity and designed various print materials. Josh also has experience as a Professional Editorial Photographer, capturing portraits for magazines, as well as a Web Designer at 2140 Interactive, creating digital marketing assets for different companies.

Early in their career, Josh served as a Screenwriter and Office Manager at IX Film Group, where they developed screenplays and managed business relationships with Japanese partners and investors.
