Brett Gower

Brett Gower is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in information systems and data management. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer and Director of Digital and Data at United Exports since October 2017, Brett has successfully built the IT department focused on data-driven decision-making and led the implementation of NetSuite cloud ERP to support the company’s global growth. Prior to this role, Brett held various positions at Singular Systems (Pty) Ltd from February 2012 to October 2017, including Manager, where responsibilities included leading a team in Shanghai for a crowdfunding platform implementation. Brett's career began with progressive roles at Singular Systems, encompassing programming, technical analysis, and project management. Brett holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems with Honours and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and Economics from Rhodes University, complemented by early educational development at Michaelhouse.
