Jason Reed has a diverse work experience with a focus on leadership roles in the healthcare and social service sectors. Jason is currently serving as the President & Chief Executive Officer of United Food Bank, a leading Arizona nonprofit dedicated to alleviating hunger. Prior to this, Jason was the Chair of the Board of Directors at Adelante Healthcare, a large community health system serving low-income patients. Jason also served as the Chief Innovation Officer at The Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Arizona, where they led strategic and fundraising initiatives for social services. Jason has been a Strategic Advisor at New Trails Navigators, a healthcare startup utilizing artificial intelligence, and a Fellow at The Aspen Institute's Program on Philanthropy & Social Innovation. Jason has also held prominent roles at hunger-relief charities such as Second Harvest Heartland and Hunger-Free Minnesota. In addition to their experience in the nonprofit sector, Jason has also worked as a Senior Consultant at McCann Worldgroup, advising Fortune 500 companies on brand growth strategies, and as an Associate Consultant at Ogilvy & Mather. Overall, their work experience demonstrates a strong commitment to addressing social issues and making a meaningful impact in the community.
Jason Reed obtained their Masters in General Management from Harvard University, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. Jason later pursued an Executive Education in Human-Centered Design at Stanford University, completing the program in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Mass Communications from the University of Minnesota in 2002.
