Taylor Merritt

Project Management Lead at United Launch Alliance

Taylor Merritt has extensive work experience in the field of structural engineering and project management. They started their career as a Structural Engineering Intern at United Launch Alliance (ULA) in 2015 and 2016. In 2017, Taylor was hired as a Structural Engineer at ULA, where they were responsible for designing, analyzing, and constructing new facilities and modifications at ULA CCAFS Launch Sites. They also worked on major modifications to launch complex 41 and surrounding structures for ULA's future Vulcan rocket.

In 2020, Taylor transitioned to the role of Project Management Specialist at ULA, where they supported the preparation of proposals, statements of work, and contractor implementation documentation. They also served as a Launch Console Operator for Centaur LH2.

Recently, Taylor has become the Project Management Lead at ULA, taking on a leadership role in managing projects and overseeing a team. They are currently involved in leading major modifications to ULA's launch complex 41 and surrounding structures for the future Vulcan rocket.

Before joining ULA, Taylor had a Civil Engineering Internship position at the City of Columbus from 2014 to 2016.

Taylor Merritt is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Florida Institute of Technology, with an expected graduation year of 2023.
