Bjorn Walberg

Bjorn Walberg, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Bjorn began their career in the military as a Second Lieutenant at Head Command Southern Norway from 1982 to 1984. Bjorn then worked as an Engineer at the Norwegian Defense Communication and Data Services Administration from 1984 to 1986. Following this, they took on the role of Manager at the same organization, where they established and managed the Corporate Project Management Office, responsible for training, mentoring, reporting, budgeting, and long-term planning. Bjorn also worked as a Project Manager for implementing a Project Management System.

In 1991, Bjorn joined Ascom Systems as a Senior Planning Engineer. From 1992 to 2007, they worked at Metier Scandinavia, where they held various roles such as Solution Manager, Project Manager, Senior Consultant, Customer Care Manager, Sales and Team Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing solution offerings and solution architecture, implementing project and portfolio management systems, and providing project management consulting services to clients.

From 2007 onwards, Bjorn joined UMT Consulting Group, where they initially worked as a Manager, focusing on strategic planning, project portfolio management, IT governance, and leveraging the Microsoft solution set. Bjorn then progressed to the role of Vice President and Senior Vice President, further expanding their responsibilities in the same areas.

Throughout their career, Bjorn has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, project portfolio management, IT governance, application portfolio management, and project management. Bjorn has a strong background in leveraging Microsoft Office Project Portfolio Server and Project Server.

Bjorn Walberg, PMP, attended HTFS/E from 1978 to 1981, where they pursued a field of study in electronics engineering. Unfortunately, no information regarding their degree was provided.
