Emin Aslanov is a seasoned professional in the field of human rights and international relations, currently serving as a Human Rights Officer at the United Nations Human Rights since July 2022. Previously, Emin held various significant positions, including Senior Advisor at the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Human Rights Team at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Geneva, where responsibilities included coordinating the Non-Aligned Movement's Chairmanship and leading initiatives within the UN Human Rights Council. Emin's experience also encompasses roles within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Permanent Representation to the Council of Europe, focusing on international relations, human rights advocacy, and migration issues. Emin holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Azerbaijan State University of Languages and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
