Yoojin Kim is a dedicated human rights advocate with extensive experience in digital technology and human rights governance. Currently serving as a Human Rights Officer at the United Nations Human Rights since March 2021, Yoojin Kim specializes in monitoring regulatory frameworks at both national and international levels. Prior experience includes a role as a Human Rights Specialist at the Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York, focusing on advocating for health access for marginalized populations. Yoojin Kim has also gained valuable experience through internships at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations and KOTRA, as well as as an announcer for the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in French with a Minor in International Relations from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
