Osama Sabbah

Osama Sabbah is a seasoned humanitarian professional currently serving as a Humanitarian Affairs Officer at the United Nations OCHA since February 2024. Prior to this role, Osama worked with UNHCR from May 2017 to February 2024, holding positions such as Assistant External Relations Officer, Protection Associate, and Senior Protection Assistant. Osama's experience includes serving as a Youth Advisor for the Korea Scout Association, where an integrated program for 50,000 adolescents was developed in Seoul, and as a Trainer - Field Facilitator for Right To Play, enhancing educational processes in Jordan. Additional roles include Humanitarian Response Officer at Human Appeal, Senior Child Protection Officer at the International Rescue Committee, and Case Manager at International Medical Corps. Osama holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from the University of Jordan, a Diploma in NGOs and Relief Management from the German Jordanian University, and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Zarqa University.
