Ian Richards

Ian Richards is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in digital government and investment facilitation at the United Nations since July 2003. As a founding member of the UN Digital Government Programme, Ian has played a significant role in enabling thousands of entrepreneurs to establish businesses via digital platforms. In previous roles, Ian developed various programs to improve foreign investment policies and organized high-profile investment fairs. Additionally, Ian serves on several boards, including the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund, where oversight of a $70 billion fund is a key responsibility.
