Larissa Adameck

Larissa Adameck serves as the Chief of Unit for the Global Programme on Prosecution, Rehabilitation and Reintegration at the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism since April 2016, previously holding roles such as Political Affairs Officer and DDR Officer. Prior experience includes serving as a Field Security Adviser at UNHCR and a Security Information Analyst at MINUSCA, along with a tenure as a Counter-Terrorism Analyst for the Federal Government of Canada. Earlier career highlights involve positions with Right To Play as an International Programme Manager and as a Gender Officer with Global Affairs Canada. Larissa Adameck holds a Master of Arts in International Security from the University of Leicester, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women's Studies from McGill University, and a certificate in Conversational Eastern Mediterranean Arabic from the University of Toronto, complemented by training from Harvard Law School in Negotiation and Leadership.
