Ryan Ehrensberger

Chief Strategy Officer at United Network For Organ Sharing

Ryan Ehrensberger has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. Ryan started as a Manager at the Virginia Department of Health from 2000 to 2002. Ryan then held various roles at Bon Secours Health System, including Administrative Director of Business Development and Administrative Director of Community Benefit. Ryan implemented cost savings measures and improved service quality during their time there. From 2012 to 2014, Ryan worked at Hammes Company as a Healthcare Advisory Services Consultant, providing strategic planning and financial modeling for hospital clients. Most recently, they have been working at the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), where they have held positions such as Director of Research, Senior Director of Research and Business Development, Chief Growth Officer, and currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer. In their roles at UNOS, Ryan has been responsible for strategic planning, business development, organizational partnerships, innovation, and technology development. Ryan has led the restructuring of organizational governance and overseen the development and execution of the organization's annual operating plan.

Ryan Ehrensberger has completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Bowling Green State University. Additionally, they hold a Master of Public Health degree in Community Health from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Ryan further pursued higher education and obtained a PhD in Research and Evaluation Methodology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ryan Ehrensberger is also a Fellow at the American College of Healthcare Executives.
