Michael Lynch

Michael Lynch is the Chief Compliance Officer at United Safety Technology. Michael has over 20 years of experience in product development and engineering management. Prior to joining United Safety Technology, they were the Director of Engineering and Facilities at OraSure Technologies, where they led a team of 15 people responsible for technology transfer, process development & improvement, validation, and manufacturing support.

Before their time at OraSure Technologies, Lynch held various positions including Chief Engineer at Stryker Orthopaedics, Director of Engineering at LSI Solutions, Manager of Stent Development at Buckbee Mears Corporation, and Senior Product Manager at Welch Allyn. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing new technology development activities, facilitating the discovery and feasibility assessment of disruptive business opportunities, and leading multiple product development teams.

In addition to their corporate experience, Lynch also spent two years as a Principal Consultant, during which time they provided product development consulting services to startups and small businesses.

Lynch received their BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.

Michael Lynch has a BSME from the University of Michigan in mechanical design.
