Anthony D'Angelo

Vice President of Corporate Compliance & Security at United Service Companies

Anthony D'Angelo has a long and varied work experience. Anthony started their career at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the Minneapolis office in 1984, where they worked as a Special Agent (SA) on complex white-collar crime and violent crime major offender cases. Anthony also served as the Chief Division Counsel in the same office.

In 1990, D'Angelo transferred to the FBI's Chicago office, where they continued their work as an SA, investigating high profile white-collar crimes and public corruption matters. Anthony also held supervisory roles, including being the Counterterrorism Supervisor and Joint Terrorist Task Force Coordinator, managing the JTTF consisting of law enforcement personnel from various agencies. Anthony also supervised a Counterterrorism squad that investigated al Qaeda and radical extremists.

In 2006, D'Angelo became the President of I-Verify - Background Screening, a company that provides technology for pre-employment screening and background checks.

In September 2008, after retiring from the FBI, D'Angelo joined United Service Companies as the Vice President of Corporate Compliance & Security. In this role, they were responsible for Federal contracts, business development, loss prevention and mitigation, financial crimes, corporate security, and fraud detection and prevention.

Overall, D'Angelo has extensive experience in law enforcement, specializing in financial crimes, counterterrorism, and background screening.

Anthony D'Angelo completed their education chronologically as follows:

From 1977 to 1981, they attended the University of Kentucky, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government.

Next, they pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from 1981 to 1984 at the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.

Later, in 2006 and 2007, they expanded their academic achievements by attending the Naval Post Graduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security. Here, they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Security Studies.
