Kaitlyn Klass

Kaitlyn Klass serves as General Counsel at United South and Eastern Tribes since November 2023, bringing extensive legal experience focused on Indian affairs. Prior to this role, Kaitlyn was a Partner and Associate at Hobbs, Straus, Dean & Walker, LLP from October 2014 to November 2023. Kaitlyn's earlier experience includes serving as an Attorney-Advisor in the Solicitor's Office of the Department of the Interior from September 2011 to September 2014, where the primary focus was on gaming eligibility and federal recognition for tribes. Kaitlyn's legal career began with various roles, including Research Assistantships at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law and internships in both juvenile law and housing divisions. Kaitlyn holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) in Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy from the University of Arizona.
