Julie Wang

Julie Wang is an experienced grants management and program analyst currently working at the U.S. African Development Foundation (USADF) since August 2021, focusing on managing grants in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi, and Malawi. Previous roles include a project assistant at the National Democratic Institute and a research consultant at the Digital Equity Association, where Julie contributed to various initiatives promoting sustainable development and digital identity solutions. With a strong academic background, including an M.A. in International Economics and African Studies from Johns Hopkins SAIS and an MSPH in Global Disease Epidemiology and Control from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Julie has engaged in extensive research and evaluation projects across multiple regions, including critical work in public health and political transitions.
