Angel Garcia

Angel Garcia, PhD, currently serves as the Executive Officer for both the 1st Space Brigade and 2nd Space Battalion in the US Army since June 2021. With extensive experience in leadership and educational facilitation, Angel has been the Lead Facilitator at LeaderShape, Inc. since June 2008, managing a premier leadership institute for college students. Additionally, Angel has provided interactive workshops with CAMPUSPEAK since May 2009, creating impactful educational experiences for student organizations. Previous roles in the US Army included Operations Officer and Chief Information Officer, among others, with service in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Angel's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University and advanced degrees in Higher Education Administration and Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Florida International University.
