Gabriella Fernandes currently serves as the Assistant Director of Monitoring and Evaluation for Foster Care at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, overseeing compliance for eleven Unaccompanied Children programs and supervising a team of three staff professionals. Prior experience includes roles as a Children's Services Specialist, where compliance monitoring and training for foster care providers were key responsibilities, and as a Development and Programs Associate at The Policy Studies Organization, managing multiple academic journals and conference planning. Additional experience encompasses an internship with the U.S. Department of State focusing on human rights research, program management at Jersey Cares, and various positions in legal and administrative support. Gabriella holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from American University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Saint Joseph's University.
