Alli Phillips has worked in various roles and positions over the years. Alli started their career in 2008 as a Program Coordinator at the International Youth Foundation, where they focused on Employability Center and Workforce Development in Africa Programs. In 2011, they joined the United States Institute of Peace as a Research Assistant and later took on the role of National Peace Essay Coordinator. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Program Specialist in the Planning, Learning, and Evaluation Team at the same institute. In 2016, they joined ARDD-Legal Aid as a Program Development and Evaluation Manager in the Program Development and Evaluation Unit. Currently, Alli Phillips is working at the United States Institute of Peace as a Senior Program Officer and Program Lead for the Border Security Training Program. Alli has also held other roles within the Institute, including Acting Director of Curriculum and Training Design.
Alli Phillips completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations & Spanish at Notre Dame of Maryland University from 2003 to 2007. Alli later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Global Affairs: Conflict and Security at George Mason University from 2010 to 2012.
